TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By submitting this form, you confirm your commitment to enrol in the Music Tuition program from TERM TWO to the end of the school year for 2024. Fees will be prorated from your enrollment date. You will be responsible for all associated costs, and please be aware that no refunds will be provided in case of withdrawal or change of mind. Please consider your commitment carefully before agreeing or signing up for this program.
Instrumental Music is NOT PAY-AS-YOU-GO. You will receive an invoice from the MTCC Finance department during the first term.
The College Finance Department will invoice instrumental tuition fees. All fees are to be finalised by the date stated on your invoice. Failure to pay your fees by the stipulated date will result in cancelled music lessons and the total music tuition owed to the College.
[$40.00 per private lesson, $25.00 per shared lesson. PRIVATE - 8 lessons x $40ea = $320.00 per term or SHARED - 8 lessons x $25ea = $200.00 per term].
The Team Leader of Arts and Technologies can exercise the right to terminate a student’s instrumental tuition at any time if it is deemed that the termination will be in the best interest of the student and/or their instrumental tutor.
The Arts Department must be notified via direct message or email to jon.lambert@cewa.edu.au by 7:30 a.m. if a student cannot attend their scheduled lesson. The student or caregiver/s is responsible for advising if there is a clash with their timetabled music lessons and any tests/exams/excursions or other school activities. Failure to do so will result in the total cost of the lesson being charged. Contacting the Music Tutor or the College’s Attendance Officer to cancel a lesson is insufficient.
The cost of any instrumental book(s), sheet music, instrument(s) or external examinations that the instrumental tutor recommends must be paid for by the parents/caregivers.
Lessons will occur on a rotational basis each week, where possible. This is to avoid students missing the same class or subject repeatedly over the term. Lessons will be at different times each week, and they will change. [Lessons will occur during 8:45 am and 3:00 pm, including part of lunch breaks].
If a student does not receive all lessons due to the fault of The College, a refund for the lessons not received will be given at the end of the school year or credited to the following year's fees.
Should the student wish to cancel their music lessons completely, four weeks written notice is to be given to the Team Leader of Arts and Technologies, Bradley Tudor. Brad.Tudor@cewa.edu.au. [Full payment may still need to be paid].
Students will receive 8 x 30 min lessons per term.
Please consider your full commitment before agreeing or signing up for this programme.
